present play
So, What is Present Play?
Present Play is a membership which has a massive video library and the most supportive, (exclusive) community online.
It’ like The Parenting Junkie’s insiders club. It’s the place to be. It’s our tribe. Present Players get hours and hours of videos, live sessions, behind the scenes, deep discounts and first dibs.
Present Play is dedicated to helping you find presence through increasing your child’s independent, immersive, imaginary play. It’s about reclaiming that restorative play that protects childhood, and about making time and space for you to thrive as a parent. Through Present Play you’ll learn how to declutter, increase your child’s playtime dramatically and reduce the family’s stress in ways you might never have imagined.

Do you ever struggle with sibling rivalry or with power struggles over screen time?
Do you sometimes find your homelife with young children overwhelming, constantly struggling to tidy up and keep clutter at bay?
Do you ever wonder if you’re “good enough” at this parenting thing?
Do you believe in the value of creativity and playfulness but wish you could do more to instill these in your day to day with young kids at home?…
…Yes?
Then you are in the right place.
Parenting Today is Hard with a capital H.
The parenting climate today is rife with conflicting advice. We’re told to play with our children, expand their vocabulary, take them to activities and classes, socialize them, constantly engage with them and then…we’re told we’re helicoptering them!
Parents and children today are the targets of aggressive marketing more than ever before. We face immense pressures to grow our kid’s academic skills, participation in organized sports and more ‘resume building’ at ever younger ages. We’re consistently sold the next ‘educational’ toy that will give our children an advantage.
And, with the acceleration of technological advancement and the rapid evolution of the global economic landscape – it’s the blind leading the blind. Nobody actually knows what type of education our children need, what type of skills they “must” master for future success.
Further, in our obsession with all these,
we’ve eclipsed the only truth we really have:
The Present Moment.
So What’s Inside?
Core Content
There are six main areas that we tackle in the course component of Present Play. Those are “Busy Slayer”, “Declutter Gangsta”, “Curation Diva”, “Play Architect”, “Strew Pro” and “Play Coach” – in each of these areas you will find deep video content that will help you transform your home into a space that induces peace, flow and lots of deep play.
Community
Our Facebook community is a guilt-free zone where we support each other, simple as that. Members often pop by with a live video to share what’s happening in their play zone or to seek empathy for the mega-tantrum that’s currently bestowed upon them by their two year old. Simply put, it’s the best mom’s group on the internet. Yep, I just said that.
Live Sessions
This is how we gather in the same “room” for interactive conversations. These are deep dive lectures that address really raw and emotional topics like handling big emotions, guilt, fear, frustration and pain. Mindfulness, decluttering and letting go of what your mother-in-law just said about your discipline style (or lack thereof).
Guest Experts
OK, these people are amazing. Sleep experts, psychologists, social workers, authors and coaches – the experts I interview monthly for Present Play give us fresh perspectives, insight and just good ol’ fashioned advice. I learn so much from these people, I almost feel I can go easy on the books (ok, ok, I will never give those up).
More Access
This is my members club! People in Present Play are always the first to know of new products, events and trainings. They enjoy the best discounts on my other products and courses, they get endless love and support showered on them by my team and myself. And they can get a LIVE COACHING SESSION… wait for it… FOR FREE. Yup.
I really can’t help it – but this is where I pour my heart. This is the place to be to watch my exclusive behind-the-scenes clips and enjoy bonuses such as the full-graphic Mega Art Supply List, the Play Without Rivalry deep dive, Playful Limits training, and there’s always more brewing.
I think it’s safe to say these, among others, are some things we all want for our little kids: RESILIENCY, GRATITUDE, JOY, SELF-MOTIVATION, CREATIVITY, & EMPATHY. That’s a… TALL ORDER
(…and notice I didn’t even mention the infamous… SUCCESS!)

No. You’ll get to choose if you want to take it one month at a time, or commit to a year!
You will receive weekly emails with links to videos in the members-only area. You can also download the transcript! So you can learn at your own pace and in your own style. All of the materials are easy to access and demand nothing from you. Plus I’ll be here to support you every step of the way.
Yes! It’s amazing when you can start out early – and although some of the information won’t be relevant just yet, you’ll be preparing for what’s coming next and learning from experienced parents. Plus you’ll get to avoid a ton of the “mistakes” the rest of us have made (or at least you’ll see them coming!)
Erm in a word – no. How each child plays is as unique as their fingerprints. Temperament, environment, attachment, personality, health, developmental stage… all these and more contribute to the content, cadence and character of a child’s play. The ideas you’ll receive in Present Play will help you to become more attuned to your child and yourself and figure out what expectations are realistic and how to amplify what’s working well for you.
Well yes… and no. We are going to be approaching fundamentals of PLAY and play is relevant for all aged children (and adults too!). But we won’t be covering the traditional approach to education – we won’t be covering homework battles, bullying or play in a school setting. If school aged children are home a lot, and have ample time for prioritizing play – than this is for them.
No. We will look at designing spaces and solutions in homes with and without storage, with and without a playroom, with and without a yard. All you need is a flexible, open mind and the belief that you can make it work.
